La thèse, une expérience internationale

Pour cette rentrée 2021-2022, tous les doctorant.e.s du LAM et du CED sont conviés au premier séminaire doctoral qui consistera en un temps informel autour de la dimension internationale de la thèse, le vendredi 29 octobre dès 14h. L’événement se déroulera au Musée d’Aquitaine puis dans la salle événementielle du restaurant chilien “El Chicho” et sera suivi d’un apéritif de bienvenue. N’hésitez pas à nous rejoindre en fonction de vos disponibilités.

Programme :

• 14h-16h : Visite gratuite de l’exposition permanente du Musée d’Aquitaine, “Bordeaux, port(e) du monde” (du Commerce Atlantique jusqu’à nos jours)

  Musée d’Aquitaine, 20 Cours Pasteur, 33000 Bordeaux
  
• 16h-18h : Rentrée des doctorant.e.s hors les murs
  5 min à pied depuis le musée
  Salle évènementielle (sous-sol), El Chicho, 11 Rue Teulère, 33000 Bordeaux
  – Présentation du séminaire des doctorant.e.s
  – « Le doctorat et l’international : croisons les perspectives ! »
  – sPeech Dating : présentations informelles des doctorant.e.s et de leurs travaux
  
• À partir de 18h : apéritif de bienvenue
  Une boisson (jus/soda/bière/vin/pisco sour) et une empanada offerte par personne puis tarifs
  Happy Hours le reste de la soirée (pinte, pisco sour et boisson non alcoolisée à 3€).

PhD as an international experience

Friday, October 29th | 2PM onwards 

As the academic year begins, we are excited to invite all LAM and CED PhD students to our first event which will consist in an informal discussion focusing on the international challenges and opportunities shaping doctoral life and research. The seminar will be held on Friday, October 29th from 2pm onwards and will be conducted in two different locations in Bordeaux downtown, first at the Musée d’Aquitaine and then at the seminar room of the Chilean restaurant “El Chicho”. The seminar will be followed by a welcome drink. Feel free to join us anytime during the afternoon/evening.

• 2pm-4pm : Free tour of the permanent exhibition of the Musée d’Aquitaine, “Bordeaux gateway to the world” (from Atlantic Trade to present time)

• 4pm-6pm : PhD students seminar
  5 minutes walking from the Museum

  – Presentation of the doctoral seminar
  – PhD as an international experience : Sharing perspectives
  – sPeech Dating : Informal introductions of both PhD students and their research
  
• From 6pm onwards : welcome drink and Chilean empanadas
  One free drink (soft beverages/beer/wine/pisco sour) and one free empanada by person followed by Happy Hours all evening long (pint, pisco sour and soft drinks for 3€). Please choose your free empanada filling in advance on the registration webpage.
